Bad idea. Accepting money for warez is likely to get you shut down. In most countries, monetizing copyright infringement is seen as criminal activity. This means that the police/authorities are involved rather than the copyright holders (as in civil copyright infringement).
Also, when accepting payment there is always a money trail (not so much with Egold or cash, but definitely with PayPal). Its the equivalent of handing your details over to the police.
I don’t want to see trancef go, but since these details are available it is now not beyond the realm of possibility
If the costs are getting too high for you to continue, perhaps you could consider trying to reduce them – maybe try to find cheaper hosting, etc?

yeah dont do it. Its illegal to accept money for warez. An although 99% are up to illegal stuff anyways, we dont want u guys to get shut down. Ur current setup is perfectly fine.
Stick to radio. Advertising isnt that bad. Most people can block it with a few addons for firefox, and i dont mind visiting the site every few days for ASOT, Club Life and TATW.

I think that a good idea. You is not forcing anyone forced to pay money, but simply offered as an additional service. I think $ 1 for 10 days, it is not too much waste

I have concerns about the legal implications of paying for content in a “premium” section. As others have pointed out, the legal issues are a worry. Taking money for what you do could push you onto the uncomfortable side of some corporate executives intents.
My impression is you have a bandwidth problem. What about putting in the direct http download option one week after you have published the archive on a download site? I think this would significantly reduce your bandwidth usage, and hopefully costs. Of course the torrents are also good with this too, if only people would seed longer :-/
I for one mostly allow the adverts as I know this is your source of income here. I hope others do this too to support the great work that you do here.

i mean why pay for something wat is on mininova or digitaly imported
but trancef needs to raise money somehow for sever costs
